    Here is a 'virtual' tour of this site to give you an idea of what to expect if you visit:

    Parley Common is a surprisingly large area of heathland

    It has recently been purchased and forms part of the Great Heaths project

    The higher ground around is dry heath and scrub

    ... but there is extensive wet heat too

    The sandy soil areas are ideal for reptiles

    There are defined paths but they are pretty rough going for the less mobile

    In amongst the gorse is a good place to look for Dartford warblers

    ... and the path by the stream has very different flora to elsewhere on the reserve

    A golf course lies to the west of the reserve

    Park by the Heatherlands Centre and access to the common is behind it
