    Here is a 'virtual' tour of this site to give you an idea of what to expect if you visit:

    Arne is best known for its wintering waders and ducks

    It has extensive borders on to Poole Harbour

    The shallow waters mean there are extensive tidal mudflats and saltmwarsh

    There are extensive areas of heath too

    The dry heath is the best place to see Dartford warbler and reptiles

    The damper areas are good for dragonflies and spiders

    The damp woodland is good for mosses, lichen and fungi

    Access is generally good but not alwys wheelchair friendly

    There are boarded walks in the damper areas

    What was Arne farm is now managed with wildlife in mind

    Extensive areas of pollen bearing and seed producing plants have been sewn

    There are some large oaks and some rough pasture
