Bibliography

A list of the reference books I use.

Over the years I have accumulated a number of reference books on all aspects of natural history; some field guides others text books. Without these books there would be no Nature of Dorset as I would know virtually nothing!

I provide a list of them here for two reasons. Firstly, it is right that I acknowledge the source of much of the information I have gleaned about wildlife and habitats and secondly if you are looking for a book, or books, to use you may wish to consider these as an option. Some of the books I have had for over thirty years and are no longer in print but where I have been able to find it I have included details of ISBN and publisher details, Where a book is sold by the Natural History Book Society I have included a link to the book [age on their website.
